what is chapter south?
chapter south is a unisex clothing label from tamil nadu, india. its first collection, collection 001 - royal heritage, reinterprets south indian heritage in pure handloom cotton and silk with zari detailing. everything is made in india and sold online at chaptersouth.in, priced ₹2,500–₹2,900.
what fabrics do you use?
- temple lines - resort shirt: pure handloom cotton with gold zari stripes
- golden sand - resort shirt: pure handloom cotton with zari borders
- sunshine - resort shirt: pure handloom narayanpet cotton with zari borders
- southbound - pullover: pure chanderi silk with gold zari checks
how do the shirts fit, and which size should i pick?
sizes run S to XL, and every piece is unisex. the resort shirts are an easy, relaxed fit made to be worn untucked. the size guide lists chest and shoulder measurements in cm for every size. between sizes? contact us and we'll help you pick.
do you ship outside india?
not yet. we ship only within india, by india post speed post, and shipping is free.
how long does delivery take?
orders are dispatched in 4–5 working days, and delivery takes 1–2 working days after dispatch. you can follow your parcel any time on track order.
can i return or cancel an order?
all purchases are final: there are no refunds, and orders cannot be cancelled once placed. eligible items can be exchanged within 48 hours of delivery, with a reason, if they are unworn, unwashed and have their original tags. items bought in a sale or with a discount can't be exchanged. see the exchange policy.
how do i request an exchange?
within 48 hours of delivery, email support@chaptersouth.in with the subject “exchange request — order #(your order number)”, the reason and your preferred replacement, then wait for our return instructions. for a damaged garment, attach an unboxing video.
how do i pay? is cash on delivery available?
all orders are prepaid online at checkout; cash on delivery is not available. prices include all taxes.
how do i care for handloom cotton and silk?
gentle machine wash or hand wash; do not use harsh detergents; wash with similar colours; wash inside out; do not bleach; do not tumble dry; dry in shade; iron at medium temperature; do not iron directly on labels or prints.
